Coach Representative
Andy Fox is a passionate coach that is dedicated to sharing his knowledge of volleyball while developing athletes leadership, teamwork and sense of belonging. He is from a small town in Western New York (Clifton Springs) where he attended Midlakes High School. He played volleyball throughout his high school career, winning the class B sectional title his senior year. Andy continued his playing career at Concordia College in Bronxville, NY. After college Andy continued his love of volleyball, coaching the Preston High School’s girl’s varsity team in Bronx, NY. Preston won 1 match in 3 years prior to Andy’s arrival as head coach. In his 5th year directing the team, they went undefeated before losing in the state finals. Nearly 20 years later, Andy joined AEVC to get back into coaching, starting as the assistant coach for the Girls 14U National Team at AAU’s. Andy’s drive to develop players in all aspects continues to earn him more responsibilities and involvement with AEVC. In 2021, Andy became the head coach of the Girls’ 14U National team. Andy lives in Hoschton with his fabulous wife, 3 children, and 2 fur babies. They support his return to volleyball, as it truly is his passion and what he finds most rewarding. Players on Andy’s team will benefit from Andy’s focus on mastering fundamentals, working together as a team, and maintaining a positive outlook as volleyball is very much a game of momentum and attitude as much as it is skill.
